Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender, then let them cool completely and cut them into large cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine plain yogurt, a clove of garlic (pressed), and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Season the dressing with salt and pepper. The dressing should be slightly too salty and very peppery to give the salad a bold flavor.
  4. Add the chopped chives and dill to the sauce. Stir.
  5. Slice or dice the pickled cucumbers and radishes, then add them to the bowl with the dressing and herbs.
  6. At the very end, add the chopped, cooled potatoes. Gently mix everything together, scooping up the ingredients from the bottom so the potatoes don't fall apart.
  7. The salad tastes best when chilled, and even better the next day, when the flavors have had time to meld.
