Ingredients
- 250 ml Vegetable milk
- 7 g Dried yeast
- 15 g Sugar
- 15 g Vegetable oil
- 250 g Wheat flour
- 1 g Salt
- 250 g Frozen cherries
- 30 g Sugar
- 10 g Wheat flour
- 100 ml Frying oil
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix warm vegetable milk with yeast and sugar.
- Gradually add flour, oil and a pinch of salt, kneading into a light dough. Cover with a cloth and set aside in a warm place for at least 30 minutes to rise.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: put frozen cherries in a saucepan, add sugar and flour. Heat, stirring, until the whole thing boils and thickens.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil (a layer of about 1.5 cm).
- Do not stir the risen dough! Scoop portions of the dough with two spoons and place directly into the heated oil.
- Fry the pancakes until brown on both sides, then serve hot with the prepared cherries.
