Ingredients
- 600 g salmon fillet
- 2 łyżeczka Cajun seasoning
- 2 szt lemon
- 1 łyżeczka salt
- 2 łyżka olive oil
- 300 g orzo pasta
- 1 szt por
- 100 g fresh spinach
- 700 ml vegetable broth
- 150 ml 30% cream
- 2 łyżeczka garlic paste
- 50 g Parmesan
- 20 g parsley and dill
- 0.5 łyżeczka chili flakes
- 20 g butter
Preparation
- Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and the juice and zest of half a lemon. Let them marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet and fry the salmon for about 10 minutes, until it's done. Remove the fish from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the sliced leek over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it softens and caramelizes.
- Add the orzo pasta and vegetable broth. Mix in the garlic paste, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
- Add the cream and spinach. Cook for a few more minutes, until the spinach wilts.
- Turn off the heat. Add the juice from the remaining lemon, grated Parmesan, and chopped parsley and dill.
- Serve the orzo topped with the salmon you prepared earlier.
