Ingredients
- 6 szt nori sheets
- 40 g panko breading
- 100 g wheat flour
- 150 ml sparkling water
- 50 g egg
- 120 g shrimp
- 45 g mayonnaise
- 15 g Sriracha
- 100 g sushi rice
- 40 ml rice vinegar
- 15 g sugar
- 5 g salt
- 50 g avocado
- 50 g cucumber
Preparation
- Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly in cold water until the water runs almost clear. Add 330 ml of water and cook, covered, over low heat for about 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for another 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the marinade: mix together the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat gently, just until the sugar and salt dissolve. Pour the prepared marinade over the still-warm rice and stir gently.
- Prepare the tempura batter: mix the wheat flour, cold sparkling water, and egg until smooth. Dip the shrimp in the batter, then coat them in panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden brown.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise with sriracha.
- Using nori squares, prepared rice, fried shrimp, sauce, and toppings (avocado, cucumber, lettuce, caviar, chives, dried onion), shape the sushi tacos and serve.
