What is Fitaily?
An app for tracking nutrition, activity and progress that combines a diary, AI meal analysis and training plans.
Which devices does Fitaily run on?
iPhone and the browser. On-device AI runs only on compatible Apple devices.
Can I use Fitaily in the browser?
Yes, the web version covers the diary and selected features, but it is not fully equivalent to iOS.
How do I add meals?
By text description, search, barcode scan, manually or by photo (cloud).
How does the barcode scanner work?
It identifies a product from its code. It is a separate feature, not AI.
Can I correct nutrition values?
Yes, before saving you can change ingredients, portion and values.
How accurate are the AI estimates?
They are helpful estimates that may differ from actual values.
How is on-device AI different from cloud AI?
On-device runs on the device without sending content to the cloud; cloud needs the internet and handles tasks such as photo analysis.
Does on-device AI need internet?
No, when the device and model are available. It is not emulated by the cloud.
Does photo analysis run on the device?
No. Photo analysis currently uses cloud AI.
Which devices support on-device AI?
Compatible Apple devices with a supported OS, Apple Intelligence enabled and the model downloaded.
Is AI consent required?
Yes, both AI modes require AI consent in the app.
What does Premium include?
Cloud AI features and server services, including photo analysis, recipe import and the AI Coach.
How does the iOS monthly trial work?
It is part of the App Store offer; availability depends on account eligibility and the current offer.
How do I check the current price?
The App Store shows the price on the subscription screen in the iOS app.
Which AI features require Premium?
Cloud features, including photo analysis, require Premium in the iOS app.
Does Fitaily work offline?
Selected diary data can be saved locally and synced later.
How is data synced?
Local changes are uploaded and merged when connectivity returns, keeping the newest changes.
How does the Garmin integration work?
It covers selected workout sync scenarios; the scope depends on the device.
